Student Guidance and Support

Sick Bay:  If a student becomes ill while at kura they should obtain a note from their kaiako and present it at the tari.  Administration staff will contact whānau to organise to have their child picked up and signed out of kura.  Students should not contact whānau and make their own arrangements for pick up.  Students will remain in the kura sick bay until whānau arrives to pick them up.

Injuries:  If a student is injured while at kura they should inform a kaiako straight away (if they are able to).  The kaiako will organise to have the student taken to the tari and have his/her injury further assessed.  If necessary Admininstration staff will contact whānau to organise to have their child picked up and signed out of kura.

Nurse/Doctor:  All students have access to the school nurse & doctor here on site at school.

Nurse (Wednesday, & Friday 9am-3.30pm) Kris Holmes

Doctor (Friday mornings) Olive Ngan

Counsellor: Matua Romana Rolleston is our full time counsellor.

Appointments for all services are made through the tari.
