The success of all Ngā Taiātea students depends on the partnership between the students, the staff and the parents/guardians of our students.

The key contact person for anything to do with your child is your child’s Kaiarahi (staff mentor). All students have a Kaiarahi and there are between 12 and 17 students with each Kaiarahi. This group is called the Whanau Arahi.

The Kaiarahi’s role is to be your child’s key support person in the Wharekura and for whanau to contact their child’s Kaiarahi if they have any questions or queries in regards and any issues related to their child.

Please read how you can be involved with your child’s education and what the expectations of you are as a Ngā Taiātea parent/guardian.
