Ngā Taiātea is a kura-ā-iwi in Hamilton and serves whānau from all around the Waikato region and many whānau from around Aotearoa. Waikatotanga, Tainuitanga and service to the Kīngitanga are integral to the kaupapa of our kura. Most of the students at Ngā Taiātea are from Tainui and we acknowledge the elders, marae, hapū and iwi for your support, guidance and commitment.
Ngā Taiātea is also privileged to have many students from iwi all over New Zealand who come to Tainui to attend Ngā Taiātea. It is an honour to have students from all over Aotearoa here at Ngā Taiātea.
Ngā Taiātea will always be indebted to the families, as well as the kura kaupapa Māori and Māori Immersion units in this region who fought for the establishment of this kura-ā-iwi. It is due to these families, schools, marae and the wider community that Ngā Taiātea exists and thrives today.
Ngā Taiātea also acknowledges our relationships with tertiary providers, community organisations and corporations in the region and beyond for your continued support and encouragement. Kāore e ārikarika ngā mihi ki a koutou katoa.
Ngā Taiātea recognizes the wider whānau, including the many other kura from around Aotearoa and beyond for your support, guidance and wisdom. Nei mātou e whakamānawa atu ki a koutou katoa.
