Some of the best learning for students is not in school classes. Some of the best learning is when students get to gain experience, think and create.
The passion projects for Year 9 and 10 students give students the opportunity to work on a project. Most students will work on their own independent project in the last two weeks of term 4. They will focus on a project related to something that they are interested in, or passionate about.
In the past students have produced art pieces, developed courses, resources like cook books and story books, built picnic tables for Kohanga, and developed apps to help people to learn te reo Maori.
There are criteria on the next page that shows how people will work on their projects and what good projects look like.
