No matou te maringa nui.  We are thankful to all of the families, students, staff, schools in New Zealand and beyond, and the wider community for your contributions to our school and all that we have achieved. E kore e mutu ngā mihi ki a koutou katoa.

Our students are developing in a school that is focused on supporting their development as young Maori secure in who they are as they prepare to support and uplift their families and communities. Nga Taiatea's focus is on the heart of our students through the values of Pono (Integrity and Honesty), Tauutuutu (Reciprocity), Whanaungatanga (Relationships), Kawenga (Responsibility) and Aroha (Respect and Love).  With strong core values our students are able to effectively lead themselves as well as support and uplift others. Kia puta ai ratou katoa ki Taiatea.

Kia Tu Maori, Kia Tu Tangata. As a Kura a Iwi here in Waikato-Tainui, we are focused on our cultural and social responsibilities to our families and community together with our focus on students being able to gain expertise in their area of passion.  Nga Taiatea supports students through caring RELATIONSHIPS, increased RELEVANCE of learning to the STUDENTS, and ROBUST learning opportunities that enable our students to gain a deep knowledge and experience in regards to their interests, their passions and their post Taiatea pathway as Maori.

We are now poised for the next phase of the Taiatea journey (our 2012 - 2014 strategy) and we thank all of the students, staff, families, iwi, and our nationwide and global Taiatea community for your confidence, support and contributions to the Taiatea kaupapa. This is an exciting time as we implement further groundbreaking initiatives to better serve and advance our students, our families and our community. Kia tau nga manaakitanga o te Runga Rawa ki a koutou katoa.

Paimaririe ki a koutou katoa
